Before starting the treatment, a topical anesthetic is applied to ensure a comfortable experience. Next, your doctor will use MorpheusV RF microneedling in the vaginal canal and around the urethral opening. Following the 20-minute treatment, a layer of Vaseline is applied as a soothing and protective barrier for the skin.

What is the downtime and recovery like?

For 2-3 days after treatment Dr. Kafali recommends you refrain from sex, pelvic exams, and the use of tampons. Applying a thin layer of vaseline within this time will also ensure a comfortable healing process. Most patients will notice some results immediately, with final results being seen at around 6 weeks. Individual results may vary.
