Does a nonsurgical labiaplasty procedure hurt?
A local anesthetic is given to numb the area before a thin hollow tube called a cannula is used to apply radiofrequency energy to the vulva region. The entire process takes no more than an hour and is done as an outpatient procedure - meaning you can go home the same day.

What is the downtime for a nonsurgical labiaplasty procedure?
After your treatment, you can get back to your regular activities such as driving and work right away. Recovery time is much shorter than with surgical labiaplasty. However, you may experience some extra sensitivity, mild discomfort, swelling, and redness in the treated area for one to two weeks. To help ease any discomfort, you can take over the counter pain relief medications.
To speed up your recovery, avoid taking hot baths, pools and hot tubs for at least a week. Also, it would be best to avoid sexual intercourse and using tampons for a minimum of two weeks. Depending on your individual situation, it may take three to six months for you to observe full results. However, many patients experience a substantial improvement in the look and feel of their vaginal area after just one Aviva session.
